This partnership still enables both programs to be offered separately, but for our shared customers, this is an awesome win to streamline administration and benefit services.

For Extraordinary, this partnership opens access to Workride’s rapidly growing network of over 1,200 employers across New Zealand. These businesses are already engaged in providing sustainable and impactful benefits, and Extraordinary can now extend its value by giving them access to additional options like public transport and gifting, all within the same trusted system.
For Workride, this partnership provides streamlined access to Extraordinary’s strong network of almost 300 large employers. These organisations will now be able to implement Workride’s financed and non-financed bike benefit programs alongside their existing suite of benefits. For enterprise HR and payroll teams, the value is clear: one system, one process, one source of truth.
Extraordinary customers will now have access to Workride’s exclusive bike benefit.
This includes the new financed program designed for enterprise and government employers. It is free to access, requires minimal HR administration, and offers monthly billing aligned with salary sacrifice. Employers face no risk if an employee leaves, and employees enjoy world-class savings of 32–63% on new bikes or e-bikes. No other program in New Zealand offers the same combination of employee experience, employer protection, and seamless administration.
Workride customers will now have access to Extraordinary’s public transport benefit.
This is the only IRD-approved platform in New Zealand that allows employees to pay for everyday commuting with pre-tax income. It helps employees save while reducing their employer’s Fringe Benefit Tax burden.
