Workride Plus is a free bike benefit program designed with to remove all barriers for qualifying employers to provide this benefit to their employees.

  • Simple monthly billing that aligns with your businesses typical billing and removes the need for upfront payment of the ride benefit.

    No credit risk to your organisation, just a simply monthly bill for any active bike benefits in use.

    During onboarding, Workride carries out a business credit check to ensure we can get your team setup with Workride Plus.

  • We know that life happens. If an employee on the Workride Plus plan leaves your company, they have a simple, flexible choice:

    • Return the Bike: They can return it for a reasonable return, inspection, and delivery fee.

    • Settlement of the Bike: On returning the equipment, our flexible exit policy allows the employee to request a settlement, keeping their bike, and helping Workride recover outstanding costs.

    This provides a simple process for your employee, and complete peace of mind for your organisation as we manage the risk. Any settlement option is intended solely to help Workride recover the outstanding benefit costs related to this specific bike benefit provision.

Max vs. Plus

Workride has two programs, Workride Max, for all employers, and Workride Plus, our free fully funded bike benefit program for qualifying employers that cannot afford the upfront benefit payment.

  • Workride Plus is designed specifically for our enterprise and government partners who require a monthly billing model with no upfront payment. To make this possible while ensuring the program remains completely risk-free for your business, we work with external providers to cover the real-world costs of financing , risk management, and insurance.

    These costs are transparently included in the employee's 12-month salary sacrifice. Here is a simple breakdown of what they cover.

    • Financing & Admin Costs (10%): To offer a simple monthly bill, Workride pays the bike retailer the full amount upfront. We then finance this cost over the 12-month term with a third-party lender. This financing arrangement is directly between Workride and the lender; there is no involvement, credit risk, or responsibility for your organisation. The cost to cover this financing is included in the employee's bike benefit salary sacrifice. A key feature of Workride Plus is the flexible return policy. A small cost is also included to cover the insurance, risk, and administrative costs required to protect against defaults and manage this flexible process.

    By bundling these necessary costs, we can offer a powerful trade-off: your business gets to provide a world-class bike benefit with zero upfront cost and zero risk, completely cost neutral for you, and your employees still receive a fantastic 25-59% offset on their new bike.
